First of all, I want to express a HUGE thank you to The Sleepy Baby instructors Amanda & Kristen, who are not only amazing photographers but now great friends of mine and 2 of the greatest women I've ever had the pleasure to meet. 

This past weekend I hosted The Sleepy Baby Workshop at my studio....and it was an amazing experience. I made some great friends & spent 2 days with 11 talented photographers! We had a blast, but most of all, we learned so many great things :) I can't wait to put it all to use with my upcoming clients & my baby.....who I expect in about 6 days!!!! 

With that said.....I will be out on maternity leave (after this weekend's wedding) until Nov. 1st, however, you can still reach me via email at LindseyMillsPhotographyStudio@Gmail.com...I will be booking sessions, taking deposits and editing past sessions, but not shooting while I am out with my baby girl. 

I hope the images that I post of her soon will be as lovely as these images that I shot at the workshop...If I can remember everything I learned that is! 

I also want to take the time to thank the Mommies that brought in these tiny models :) we wouldn't have been able to have a workshop with out you letting us borrow your babies for a little while :) I hope you love all the images!

Ready for the holidays? 
I know it's early....but we are booking sessions now for November 2011...

Here are the dates we will offer "specials" 
*Thurs. Nov.3 & 10th...
...Nov. 3&10 are for kids only...they will be held at the studio and will include... 
*25 minute session with a DVD of 6 images & 1 christmas card template for $150....

*Sun. Nov. 6th & *Thurs. Nov. 17th 
all day Santa Sessions for kids only
...at the studio...and will include 20 minutes with Santa (pictures & talking) DVD of 6 images & 1 christmas card template for $200. 

Also...I will be booking "family holiday sessions" that will take place at the Conway Riverwalk and are available for up to 4 subjects & will include...30 minutes of shooting time, 1 DVD of 10 images & 1 christmas card template for $200.

I am also trying to book "the night before christmas" with Santa...that will take place in the studio...the kids will wear their pajamas & we will have Santa read the book to the children....this will not include pictures (other than snapshots & candids) and will be free, but will be limited to spots that are available. I do not have a date for this yet, but will let you know asap!

Baby Faith is "My HEART!" I've loved her since her newborn session :) I met her fabulous parents at their maternity session they booked with me, and we've been friends ever since....

We had to do something special for Faith's 1 year old session, so as always...I asked her mother what her "birthday party theme" would be...and when she said "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" we decided that instead of eating just a cake, we'd have fun and eat the food that is that book, to go along with the theme....

Faith's Mommy was such a great sport, bringing in all of the items we needed & even had a special dress made for Faith...

Here are just a FEW of the images we captured, I posted them as a "sneak peek" this is not what her actual book that we are going to make, will look like....but this is cute too! 

Yesterday, Sept. 3rd, 2011...Karin said "I Do" to her husband Ted in front of their closest friends & family inside of Belin Methodist Church in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina.

Karin walked down the isle in a custom fit dress designed by Charlotte's Build a Bride, and I don't think there was a single person in that church that didn't have their breath taken away for a moment, when the doors opened and she stood there looking amazingly stunning in that gown!

The rest of the day was just as great & the reception was total fun for everyone!

Sara Barnhill from Stunning & Brilliant Events LLC did an amazing job as usual! 

Karin & Ted I wish you the best of luck, I love you, and I've been blessed to develop such a great friendship with you both, since the first day you booked me as your photographer :) 

The Baggott wedding was beyond beautiful! I've never seen the inside of Belin Methodist Church in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina look as amazing as it did that day. 

And although it rained pretty hard that morning, the clouds parted and the sun shined through as the guest arrived to witness Travis & Courtney say "I Do!"

It was a great day & fun night :)
